Chennai ranks high in levels of Hazardous materials in air

The news in Deccan Chronicle Chennai on 24/1/08 will worry the people in chennai about their future and about next generation. " According to recent reading collected from certain areas in chennai by central pollution control board(CPCB), the RSPM level ( content of hazardous particles in the air content) is 94 , while the danger level prescribed by the CPCB is 100. The massive urbanisation and industrialization has led to a rise in population, vehicles and fuel consumption as well ". Dr. Pushpavanam from IIT Madras says " The quality of air in chennai is poor because of high emission of lead fuel and due to diesel powered vehicles".Also people with asthma, heart and lung diseases are more susceptible to poor air quality. This constitute new problem". At the last of the article Dr. Makhijani's words are very touching " Every comfort has its own disadvantage. A problem as prominent as this can not be resolved unless it is attacked from all sides and that requires some sacrifice". I am sure that the writer of this article is a person who love nature as well as chennai

Fear Typhoid fever

Last two weeks I was suffering from heavy fever. That fever taught me a lot. Especially how to face a problem when I am alone.I had medicines from chennai hospitals, but I couldn't stop that fever. It is better to get suggestions or instructions from elders or parents in such situations.I returned back to home and admitted in LF hospital Angamally. Now I am quite ok. It was actually typhoid fever. http://www.reference.com/search?q=typhoid%20fever . In chennai, I will get fever, headache or digestion problem in every month. Main reason for this is the big city's authorities is not caring or noticing the drainage system. When a small rain comes, you can not differentiate between the rain water and sewage water. The sewage water handling is very poor in chennai . The smell that coming from this canals is horrible. It is hard enough to make you unconscious. Everyday I have to cross one such sewage water canal before going to my office in Tidel Park. Why these developed city is lagging or not listening this dangerous problem?? Why the authorities are not caring the health of people??

A hope is lost ....whom we suspect

The day 27/12/07 would be remembered as question to PAK democracy forever because Benazir Bhutto, was assasinated just after she had finished addressing a large public rally. We can compare Indira Gandhi with her. Many similarities are there in their political life. "Benazir Bhutto 54, was expecting it, but the suddeness and violence of her death has left the world sheelshocked" says Seama Mustafa reporter of DC news paper. She is really brave. Her dedication to reestablish democracy had given her this much courage to face death. On the first view, we can suspect the Pervez 's goverment itself. Second thing is Benazir's spoke person Farhatallah words give us there was some inner conflicts in her party itself " She has been killed under plan. There were jealous of the response she was receiving from public". PPP leader Farzana Raja said " It ( the killing) was a conspiracy. Some elements were trying to martyr her since she arrived back. They were jealous of her popularity". Third thing , In Rawalpindi former Prime minister Nawaz Sharif rushed to the hospital and addressed the crowd " Benzair Bhutto was also my sister and I will be with you to revenge for her death. Don't feel alone. I am with you, we will take revenge on the rulers". The fourth, "We can suspect Qaeda militants and the Taliaban behind the assassination".I don't know who others play behind that . Whatever may be the truth I always pray for peace in Pakistan.
