Baba Amte ...A real wisdom chapter ... One truth about great people, they never realize that they are great. I studied about Baba in my schoolings. From news paper I understood he passed away after his six decades of selfless service on Friday 11th February 2008.In six decades of selfless service, Baba Amte helped over sixty thousands leprosy patients,gave them back their life and dignity.Amte till in his last,just moved about as an ordinary man.The same person who won the alternate Nobel prize,the Demming medal,a padma Vibhushan, and dozens of International Awards,but looking at him you never have guessed it.His prize money alone was over a million dollars,yet he wore a coarse cotton tunic and shorts all his active life.
